Coaching

Welcome to the possibilities and opportunities that coaching supports!

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
— Howard Thurman

What is coaching? What kind of coaching do I do?

Coaching is a client-centered approach that offers clarity, accountability and support for making the changes that you want to make to lead a happier, more fulfilling life.

As a professional coach, I partner with my clients in a thought-provoking and heart-opening conversation.  This is designed to maximize personal and professional growth, create awareness, and empower you to take action. This model of coaching includes active listening, being present with you, and asking powerful questions designed to draw out self-reflection and awareness in order for you to take conscious action and create solutions for yourself.

Coaching is distinct from consulting and mentoring as it is not advice-centered. It is also distinct from therapy, as it is not about fixing anyone or on healing the past. It is centered on the belief that you, the client, are whole and resourceful, and have everything you need to move forward with your life.

Why did I become a coach?

I love working with and supporting people in making positive changes that enhance well-being, expansion, and growth. My purpose in coaching is to empower people to live lives that are joyful, rewarding, purposeful and fulfilling.

What makes me unique as a coach?

I combine coaching with the intuitive and body awareness skills I have learned from over 30 years’ experience as a massage therapist and facilitator of healing.

How is coaching helpful?

Coaching supports people in aligning with their core self. It supports people in changing attitudes, beliefs and perceptions that get in the way of personal growth, and allows you to see new perspectives, and new choices in your life that support people in coming alive!

How long are coaching sessions and for what duration?

Typically, coaching sessions last between 45 minutes to an hour, depending upon the time it takes to achieve the desired outcomes for that session. To build the foundation for a coaching relationship, a client usually starts with a 5 session package. Other options are available, depending upon the nature of the need and intention behind seeking coaching.
